December + January updates!
What has been going on lately, and a 2022 recap :)
One skill I’ve recently “mastered” - Robotics

Yeah, yeah, I know. Robotics isn’t technically a skill, but everything around it is. Programming, designing, 3d printing, all of them make robotics as it is today. I’ve written an article about it, feel free to check it out :))
One book that has shaken my beliefs - The subtle art of not giving a F***
Okay, I’ll be completely honest. I did not read this book in December, but around September. This month I read some others, but it made me realize how good this first book was. Like CRAZY GOOD. And, as with all good books, you should definitely check it out. This book it’s written by Mark Marson (who has an excellent youtube channel). There are a lot of key points discussed in this book, but it mainly goes around your goals, values, and how to live a happy life. If you’re super time-restrained, you could watch this book summary, from the same author. I’ll leave a trailer down here, just to spark your interest.
How has it affected me?
That’s also a simple answer, right? It was good, why would I be talking about it if that wasn’t the case? Well, as with everything in life, it’s not that simple. The book is a promise to yourself while you read it: you start thinking about all the ways you can start living a meaningful life. But reflecting on its own doesn’t do much, except give you a feeling of comfort, of growing even if you’re not. So it wasn’t until this month that I started reflecting on who I am, and who do I want to become.
How can you take this reflection to its maximum?
As I mentioned, the book in itself it’s not the key to happiness, but what you do afterward. So, I developed a set of questions that anyone should ask themselves. We all keep these questions just in the center of ourselves, even if we don’t have them present or written down. That’s why we must write them, to have a direction, cause if not, we’ll be running in circles. The question is:
Who I am? - Which can be divided into the following:
What things am I not? - Think about the people you hate: they are the personification of what you’re trying to avoid being yourself and start reflecting on that
So, what am I? - Think about you, at this exact moment. Stop reading, and focus on the things you are. Not the things you think you are, but what you are. It’s really difficult, and I haven’t found the answer yet: that’s why this next question is here.
So who do I want to be? - This should be your set of values. Now, relating it to this month’s book: “Happiness comes from having values that you believe in and choosing to dedicate your time and effort there—at the expense of other things. That is, focus the fucks you give.” Being happy comes from having a good set of values, and working on that.
I have my answers to these questions, but I don’t want to cloud your judgment, and I do believe that these answers are extremely personal. So, try your best: there are no good or bad answers, and no one is going to check them for you. And, it shouldn’t take more than an hour. ONE HOUR, just one, to change your life. Honestly, I think it’s a pretty good investment
One of my most challenging times in TKS: THE challenge
Okay, jokes aside, it really was a challenge. It was difficult, a lot of sleep was lost, and it was crazy the amount of time my team and I lost on doing stuff that wasn’t that important. Still, on the last three days before submitting it, we worked like crazy to get it to send out. I, personally, in just two days, developed an app (as a front end, not really programming anything but proud still), without knowing anything about it before. You know what, I’m so proud, that I’ll leave a link here for you to check out.
What’s up with me? → Nose surgery
I feel like an image is worth a thousand words, so here it goes.
Anyways, it wasn’t that painful, but I need to express my gratitude to all doctors and surgeons, and also to any nurse that helped me. But, on top of everything, gratitude to the health Spanish system, that makes available this type of operation to anyone out there, not regarding economic status.
